Center for Students in Recovery

Counseling and Mental Health Center

  • The center is closed, but counseling and psychiatric services are available via telehealth. For crises after hours or on weekends, CMHC Crisis Line at (512) 471-2255 is available 24/7.
  • Some groups will still be able to meet, though the group format or delivery will be adjusted due to the requirements for social distancing. Some groups will be cancelled. For students who are already participating in a group, their group leader will be reaching out with specific information about their group status.

New Student Services

Office of the Dean of Students

  • The office is closed to walk-in traffic, but staff are working remotely during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., including Student Emergency Services.
  • Student Emergency Services is providing support services.
  • Currently scheduled meetings for Student Conduct and Academic Integrity and Title IX Training and Investigations will take place via Zoom or phone.

Recreational Sports

  • All facilities and vendors/services located inside Gregory Gym are closed. Staff are working remotely during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. All formal programming, organized activities and events are cancelled for the remainder of the semester.

University Health Services

  • The department is open during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to provide care for most health concerns through telehealth, including evaluation of COVID-19. UHS will schedule in-person appointments for acute illness or injury only after an initial telehealth consultation in which the provider determines an in-person visit is necessary in order to provide treatment or care. The UHS lab remains open but may be accessed by appointment only. UHS will continue to monitor all secure messages, phone calls and refill requests.
  • Please call 512-471-4955 to schedule a telehealth appointment or the UHS Nurse Advice Line, 512-475-6877, for guidance about when to come to UHS, especially if you have a fever and respiratory symptoms.
