The Vice President for Student Affairs office creates intentionally-designed opportunities, communities and events for students, faculty, families, staff, alumni and supporters. Under the leadership of Vice President Lilly, these initiatives underscore the Division’s core functions as the hub of student life and well-being: partnerships, student support and well-being. The office team helps maximize the Longhorn experience by providing enriched, rewarding and fun possibilities. These initiatives support a shared University-wide goal: to help ensure that student are healthy, engaged and successful — and ready to change the world.
Our office commemorates the historic signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17 by working with campus partners to educate students on the rights of citizenship and civic engagement.
This community-building student event brings 16 students from across campus together. The intimate dinner creates a space for genuine dialogue and conversation.
Council members from the Division’s departments provide high-quality student events and activities to foster a sense of community and belonging.
The working group consists of faculty, staff and students across campus who identify and create solutions to increase campus-wide support for first-generation Longhorns.
This council is a dynamic team of parents and alumni who lend their philanthropic and professional expertise to support students in living the Longhorn life. Appointed by VP Lilly, council members assist in fundraising efforts and provide vital feedback.
