Supporting the “whole” student, their success and academic journey at the university is what guides our development work and fundraising efforts. The university’s strategic plan and the Division of Student Affairs strategic priorities drive the work of our teams; fundraising is critical to fuel the important programs and services that best support the health and well-being of all students. This work is part of the What Starts Here campaign that supports the university’s goal to be the highest-impact public research university in the world.

We seek philanthropic support from our alumni, parents and community partners who can join us in influencing the Longhorn life by helping:

  • Award more scholarships;
  • Expand experiential learning, career opportunities and global initiatives that connect students with the world;
  • Increase student engagement programming for incoming students and special populations to enhance the student experience, create peer connections and support students’ sense of belonging; and
  • Establish a new endowment centered on student health and well-being that will fund student success initiatives, emergency support services and opportunities for leadership and personal development.

We have BOLD fundraising goals and will involve many campus partners across the Division and the university. We also have incredible groups like the Student Affairs Development Council and the Longhorn Family Leadership Council helping to raise awareness and resources for our students and programs. We are truly better and stronger together.

If you would like more information on the Division’s development priorities, please email me. Thank you for your support!
