Your Participation: Student Health and Well-being Survey

Dear Longhorns,

Our students’ health and well-being are a top priority of the University ¾ we want to help you discover and pursue your passions while supporting your academic success. Starting Sunday, Oct. 8, please look out for emails from Healthyhorns asking you to complete the National College Health Assessment (NCHA) survey and set aside some time to do so before the deadline on Sunday, Nov. 12.

This is your opportunity to share feedback that will help shape what health and well-being look like on campus! As the hub of student life and well-being, the Division of Student Affairs provides intentionally-designed, student-focused resources tailored to your needs, so your input is important to us! Since 2006, the Division and campus partners have relied heavily on the information gathered in this survey to help create and prioritize our programs, decide the best use of spaces and develop resources that support you.

This voluntary, confidential online survey only takes 20-30 minutes to complete. It will include questions about your health behaviors, attitudes and experiences in various areas including mental health, nutrition, sexual health, exercise, sleep, substance use and more. Please be assured that survey responses shared with the University will not be tied to any identifiable student information.

Complete the survey and you will be entered into a prize drawing for a chance to win one of four pairs of Apple AirPods or one of nine $50 Amazon gift cards.

We want to help maximize your Longhorn experience, so I encourage you to participate. If you have any questions, contact Brittany Boyer, the UT Austin NCHA survey coordinator, at healthyhorns_research@austin.utexas.edu.
