Wise Words from the VP, April 2019

April 2, 2019

The Division of Student Affairs’ reach and influence was in full force at the 2019 NASPA Annual Conference in Los Angeles a few weeks ago. This premier professional development event brought together 7,000 student affairs educators and administrators from across the country who share the responsibility for a campus-wide focus on the student experience.

Members from across the Division presented educational sessions ranging from organizational transitions to campus culture. Their thought leadership and presentations inspired many attendees. Here is some of our team who were shining at NASPA!

I also enjoyed catching up at our annual Friends and Alumni Reception with many of our former students who are now student affairs professionals, as well as former UT Austin staff who are moving up the ranks. Kudos to our events team for putting on a first-class event that created some fun new memories.
